Maritime Reporter: sponsor publication at 2012 Work Boats Exchange

by Hans | December 19th, 2011

We’re proud to announce that Maritime Reporter will be acting as the sponsoring publication for the upcoming 2012 Work Boats Exchange taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale from April 9th – 12th.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the event The Work Boats Exchange is a dynamic and interactive forum designed around private one-on-one meetings between the best commercial marine industry suppliers and the nation’s leading fleet owners for the purpose of vetting new products and creating new relationships.

For more than 65 years we’ve been dedicated to serving the needs of the global maritime community  — fleet owners, suppliers and trade partners — with insightful editorial and proven, practical solutions. We’re thrilled to be supporting the event and promoting appointment-based events as a new way to connect with potential partners and make strong connections within the industry.

Appointment-based events are much more focused and intimate than trade shows and offer the perfect environment to meet face-to-face with potential new partners, network with colleagues and learn about the most innovative products and services in the industry.

Fleet Owners already committed to the event represent over 21 major fleets and over 2000 vessels with participants from Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, the Gulf of Mexico, California, and the Eastern Seaboard. Both fleet owners and industry suppliers are invited to submit qualifications for approval and I urge you to move quickly as only 50 owners and 50 suppliers will be allowed to attend.

Although there’s a limited amount of space left for fleet owners and suppliers there’s still time to register and be qualified for this unique opportunity. For more information visit the Work Boats Exchange website at www.WorkBoatsExchange.com or contact Karen Kelly at 978-263-1334 or kkelly@exchangeevents.com.

We look forward to seeing you in Fort Lauderdale in April!
