Triple TOS departure: three ship deliveries in one week

TOS successfully manages the departure of three global ship deliveries in one week. This week three vessels set off on their journey:

  • Wednesday July 22nd, the RADO (former DRADO of URS Antwerp) set off on its maiden voyage from Terneuzen, Holland to Mohammedia, Morocco.
  • Friday July 24th, the new build ASD-tugboat MEDMA of Damen Shipyards departed from Shanghai, China to Giaio Tauro, Italy under full TOS management.
  • Saturday July 25th, the ASD-tugboat SVITZER HAWK will depart the port of Dubai, UAE with destination Puerto Armuelles, Panama. The SVITZER HAWK will be relocated to her new working area.
A fourth TOS ship delivery is still on its way. The SMIT PANTHER will arrive in Venice, Italy in mid August after a successful voyage from Haiphong, Vietnam. The SMIT PANTHER is the first new build vessel of a new range of 95 Bollard Pull ASD-tugboats. With four ships on three continents TOS (Transport & Offshore Services) offers true global ship deliveries. “Our division is working around the clock because of the worldwide activities”, says Ronald van der Kolk (Manager Technical & Nautical Department). “Recently our department has expanded with two new colleagues. With these reinforcements we have a lot of faith in the future.”   Transport & Offshore Services bv TOS (Transport & Offshore Services) was founded in 1992, and over the course of the years has grown to be a middle-sized international recruitment agency with its head office in Rotterdam, branches in Flushing, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine, and collaboration agreements with companies in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. A young and enthusiastic team offers companies world wide ‘crewing solutions’ in all sectors, varying from sea shipping, towage, dredging, underwater contracting, to inland shipping. TOS is specialist in turnkey ship delivery and recruitment and selection of nautical and technical personnel for shore based jobs. TOS has developed into an all-round service provider that recruits marine and technical personnel in accordance with high standards. The company is ISM-certified, has been awarded NEN 4400-1 and VCU certification, and is currently working on ISO 9001:2008 certification. TOS currently has a staff of 40 and a workforce of 600 employees who are being placed each day on average. These employees are derived from the database of the company of approximately 5000 employees.
