Mampaey Offshore Industries B.V. the leading supplier of Mooring, Berthing and Towing Systems, has launched a digital photo competition. Goal is to create a digital image which a Mampaey towing hook is shown in whatever form. With or without a towing wire connection, the towing hook seen with a tow, and/or others, etc. Digital photos must meet at least a resolution of 1Mb, and can be sent to Mr. Herbert ten Have – h.tenhave@mampaey.com and/or to the compiler of this Tugs Towing & Offshore Newsletter – jvds@towingline.com.
Mampaey reviewed the photos and hereby designate the winner. The winner will receive a digital camera valued at Euro 150, -. The digital photographs are to be submitted before April 23, 2010. Digital photos after the deadline do not participate in the contest. Mampaey has the right to use the pictures for promotion purposes. The company is based in the Netherlands and founded in 1904. The buildup of experience resulted in hooks that define today’s industry standards.
