Bugsier-, Reederei- & Bergungs-Gesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG is pleased to announce that they have ordered new builds which will increase the fleet and extend the fields of application.
One order has been placed with Istanbul based yard Bogazici. The new tug is planned under most modern aspects and is designed by Cintranaval – Defcar / Spain. It will measure 32,00m x 12,50m x 5,60m and will be featured with an open stern for anchor handling duties. The propulsions of 2 Schottel SRP 4000 will be powered by 2 x ABC 12 DZC-1000-168A, 2 x 2500 kW with a bollard pull of at least/minimum 80 tonnes. In addition, the new tug will be equipped with a FIFI 1 fire fighting system and 2 Kraaijeveld double drum winches, each forward and aft, which guarantees demanding offshore-, salvage-, and firefighting-services.
Bugsier-, Reederei- & Bergungs-Gesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG decided to build this special tug, which will most probably be named “Bugsier 11”, to best meet the needs/requirements of their customers for strong and modern tonnage both offshore and in port.
The other order has been placed with the Holland based DAMEN shipyard for a pure harbour tug of type ASD 2411.
The tug will most probably be named “Bugsier 22”. With a length of appr. 24,50 metres, a breadth of appr. 11,30 metres and a draft of appr. 4,60 metres it will have an approximate bollard pull of 70 / 65ts. Both Caterpillar 3516C main engines have an output of each 2100 KW which will bring the power to two Azimuth – propulsions of type RRUS255.
