Lingestroom for outfitting to ‘DS Go.’

Last week was seen the Damen Shipyards new building Shoalbuster 3512 LINGESTROOM for Van Wijngaarden Marine Services BV.

This shallow draft Shoalbuster 3512 is 35 mtrs in length and has a min. draft of 2.90 mtrs and a grt of 476 tonnes. This completely new design (second one of serie) brings a range of benefits including a larger bridge / superstructure, with the opportunity of an office for the client and accommodation for up to 11 personnel. An extensive working deck of 145m², with space for e.g. containers (7x 20 and 2x 10ft.), 7x DELTA Flipper or 4x STEVPRIS anchors. The propulsion system is based onthree engines delivering 2.910 bKW at 1800 rpm, with the middle engine configured with a generator to supply their required power for hydraulic deck gear such as the crane and winch, and also the bow thruster. Transport from Hardinxveld to Gorinchem was conducted by VWMS-tugs “SCHELDESTROOM”/ 10.0 BP and “VLIESTROOM” / 5.0 BP. Delivery is planned end April 2016
